Inkjet Cartridges

Epson 4-color dye based ink
This is the general purpose ink. A 4-color dye based ink, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black(CMYK) which is quick drying resulting in vibrant output without bleeding or smudging. Wide color gamut as well as the widest selection of compatible media. Current printer models supported are Epson Stylus C44UX, Epson Stylus Color 1520. So if you're looking for a good alround home/office printer then this could suit. Printers are cheap also.
Epson Photo Inks™
For the advanced amateur photographers and home photo user there's a 6-color dyebased ink CMYK plus light cyan and light magenta inks (CMYKcm) which smooth the tonal gradations important for photography and quick-Drying formula. Wide color gamut and wide media selection. Current printer models supported are Epson Stylus Photo R300 / R300M / 1280 / RX500. So if it's photos for a hobby then these printers could be the one to go for. Still very versatile in other areas.
Epson DURABrite® Inks
Now we move on to Epsoms pigment based inks. The previously mentioned dye based ink will produce their best work on premium/glossy papers and not so hot on plain paper. With pigment inks the inverse is true, saving their best for plain papers. Work printed with pigment based inks also has a longer life span before fading. DURABrite™ Inks are home general purpose and photo dedicated. 4-color pigment based ink delivering exceptional text and image quality on plain and matte papers. Also have the flexibility to print photos on matte or glossy papers. Current printer models supported are Epson Stylus C64 / C84 / CX5400 / CX6400.
Epson UltraChrome™ Inks
7-channel print head and 8 cartridges: Pigment-based CMYKcm ink. Focused on commercial, fine art, and advanced amateur photography; pre-press proofing, posters, and signage. Epson Stylus Photo 2200, Epson Stylus Pro 4000/7600/9600/10600.
Epsom UltraChrome Hi-Gloss Inks
8-channel print head and 8 cartridges: Pigment-based CMYKcm aimed at those wanting photography, including commercial, fine art, and advanced amateur. Current printer models supported are Epson Stylus Photo R800.
Epson Archival Inks
6-color pigment based ink for indoor/outdoor signage, fine art reproduction, fine art photography, and Print for Pay. Epson Stylus Pro 10600 supports.
